We use the simulator in fundamental research to get a better understanding of learning in animals and humans, with a focus on associative learning.

APPLIED ETHOLOGY

We are working on an application of the simulator in applied ethology and animal welfare. The simulator can be used to understand the origin of behavioural problems in domesticated and farm animals.

CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGY

We use the simulator to understand how implicit (unconscious) learning may impact psychological conditions such as phobias, anxiety, and depression.
